Well, the Mini BAMM shoot was a lot of fun. Red Rock brought out some fine examples of Military bolt rifles with bayonets attached. Deadeye Doug had a 30-40 Craig, Rattlesnake Rod had a beautiful No I Enfield and Shaky D a No. 4 Enfield. Rowdy One was fast with the 1911. The "Marvelettes" secret judges scored the style of each shooter with, of course, a total non-biased point system behind anonymous masks. (bribes still encouraged) In the end, Big Foot Billy won the shooting times and took home a luxury vehicle and will get his name on the Golden Shovel, and Deadeye Doug took the BS points (best style, of course). There was a little history told about one of the rifles by Red Rock that was interesting. The next BAMM shoot will be at the November 11 Rangers shoot, Saturday after the main Cowboy match. For more information, contact Shaky D or Red Rock. Keep an eye out for pictures to be published by Shortstock soon.

I have a video posted on the Rangers' webpage. It is of the 1st Mini-BAMM (Bolt Action Military Match). The match was following the Rangers' September monthly shoot.
